Remaining unmarried doesn't necessarily mean living in isolation. It can be more of a wider togetherness, access to more people and a life of uninhibited celebration. In this era of increasing population this can be an encouraging trend. Salute to Nikhil!

Completely agree with Nikhil Ji, I am a woman with 48yrs of age with 2 children, son Lt Cdr in Navy, daughter done fashion designing. Successfully established my kids and husband, but some where I think I wasted my 30yrs of life in bringing up them. It’s the society who really convince us to get married , hv kids, but what about the dreams we had in our childhood of exploring the world ,living life as we wish. Once u hv kids you are bound to nurture them, and support till they get married and established. Getting married and having children is a personal choice. And parents and society must understand that.

What Nikhil said is already proven by Abdul Kalam and Ratan Tata. They were in constant pursuit of excellence. While many limited their definition of family to spouse and kin, they looked at their work as their family. Lata Mangeshkar is another example. All these people lived for their work and There are many millennials in India who believe in that and have decided to go that path despite societal pressure.

I disagree with the idea that being in a relationship limits your ability to grow and evolve. Why can’t people who are in a relationship evolve together, as a couple and as individuals? You are still your own person even if you are in a relationship. Evolution is our ability to adapt to new people, situations and ways of thinking - a successful relationship requires all of that and can push you out of your comfort zone.

Let me tell you my example how a woman beside you can contribute to your growth, I work in US and got laid off few months back, on VISA I had only 60 days to land a new job. This means I have to start applying and getting into interviews ASAP. My wife supported me through the process by working with me initially on Resume, then she took all household chores (she is working woman) and didn't let me do anything as she saw how exhaustive the nature of Job interviews are. Whenever I had any negative thought whether I can do it she always reminded me the things I did till now that wasn't easy professionally. After 30 days I had 2 offers and both were better than last job. So, you need a partner who is beside you when you are down to bring you up. In good times you always have people around you, its the bad times when you need the support of someone and its always your parent or partner.

The difference between Nikhil Kamat and you is that he has built a business and you are an employee. Your set of challenges are different and his set of challenges are different. Since he is speaking about all this, he never felt the need of having someone besides him (or maybe there would be some past horrible experiences). The bottom line is we need to have an open perspective of looking at things.

My view is ONE should be very confident when taking the decision of having kids, if you have them then you be completely obliged to them without any exception cuz they haven't chose to be born it is you who have chosen to have them.

You will learn so much more about yourself by being in a relationship with someone as opposed to being alone. How others perceive you is partially a reflection of how you come across and how you treat others and how you make them feel.

you are touching the most affluent part of the society. Just less than a percent or two. Also, country like India where relations are seen from a different perspective or a dimension of a life. I might be wrong, but I guess Osho sometime said we should not have social structure like a marriage, just like elephants if someone wants babies, they can have it, but babies are part of bigger caring structure. Babies grow better due to different capabilities/weakness of adults in the group. Earlier due to joint families it used to happen naturally, just not possible now.

Nikhil is at a point in evolution where he has earned lots of money but the Universe helped him to reach the position he is in now, Guys don't listen the words of Rich guys they might be either lying or they might be bluffing, these people are the people who are born in a generation where writing some lines of code gave them more money compared to their peers, be thankful for the evolution and the predecessors who were born from Marriage and helped you to make a living in this world. People with money are so revered because they can say anything and get away with it ,but the Hardworking poor cant SO GUYZ MAKE MONEY don't hear the Words of these ppl.

I believe inclusiveness is a significant character in evolving. Having a partner is one of the greatest way of improving our inclusiveness with integrity by shedding ourselves. But that doesn't mean you definitely need to have a life companion. Though its a choice, most of the people would need that. The key is, taking that decision consciously. Partner or not, conscious decision matters.

Idk why now a days society promotes being alone or not having marriage is something really good .. Being alone is good at a point from may be 18-28 year after that once you have knowledge and you can create a family you will have people by your side you can bring your thoughts in front of whole world when you are not there .. American media shows being alone is good in reality surrounding yourself with people like you give you power which being alone cannot give you

everyone trying to argue on Nikhils point trying to correct him, thinking his views were faulty, but not one of them asked him why he thinks the way he thinks, the cause of his views, there was definitely something to learn about his point but I guess they are all too scared of the truth being told. the man is living in reality and is adapting to get the best out of it, the rest are just running away from reality.

Agree that being alone leaves u with more freedom and the fact that u can live life on your terms, having lived alone for the majority of my life , however marrying for love has been a great experience for me as well having my daughter is a blessing I won’t give up for anything ..however it’s your life your call ..all I’ll say is keep an open mind to anything and congrats for sharing half your wealth with society .take care and stay blessed.

I will also note that Evolution requires a catalyst. This can come in the form of a new spouse, environment etc. But it requires people. Children chnages people as well. So, if you wish to evolve, you need a catalyst which mainly comes from being affiliated with new people, platonic or romantic or familial etc.
