For a first-time legacy college attendant, telling them to get the most out of something they know nothing about is actually pretty infuriating. So, I didn't know how to use university and didn't have any support, and I am neuro divergent. Telling me that.... doesn't help me define it or fix it... if I don't have it, I can't define it. If I can't define it, I can't mitigate for alleviation of those problems... what do people mean when they say hey you better get the most out of something??? Yet, in our contemporary system, that advice alone almost gets too close to a personal relationship and is therefore forbidden. What is the point of college if teaching people how to use it is against the rules????
