This one is my favorite, because the meaning is that the person is lost in a Strange Land, doors surrounding her and not knowing where to go and what she wants. Having no plans, she wants to be found but instead, she finds shelter in someone else but that person she’s with makes her think much more, that’s why she named that person“sentimental trickster”. She wants her love just like before, nice and simple but she can’t seem to have what she wants. So she stays confused and lost in a place called Strange Land.

@@clairdelune7687 hi! so i guess the message of the song changes from person to person but this is how i understand it! in the chorus niki mentions being a "continential drifter", which i think refers to the fact that shes moved out of her home country in asia to america. after moving out of her hometown, shes become pretty successful with her career and what not, hence shes the hero of her hometown. this is because despite her career being based in america mostly, shes still known as an asian artist, therefore bringing "recognition" to her home country? hope this helps, but do let me know if im not making sense :)
