At the end of the day I'm not looking to invest in game skins as if they're crypto or whatever, so even though the ability to sell them is a huge upside it's worth nothing if I can't get them im the first place

Yeah but you are spending 50 bucks on something that isn't special. Sure it looks cool but you have the same knife as everyone else who bought it. It isn't special and you spent 50 bucks on it. It also holds no value because of that. Cs skins are different and when you get a knife it's YOUR knife. No other players have it and if it has a cool pattern then it can go up in price. Then if you get bored you can sell it and spend the money on something else. You can't resell Val skins meaning you wasted 50 bucks and if you get bored of it, good fucking luck. In the end it becomes a huge waste of money and it becomes worthless if you get bored of it

The champions knives are really good imo and the fact that they're exclusive makes it worth the price tag. The arcade melee looks like shit to me but I understand why it's so expensive; detailed animations with different variants. The oni katana is so good looking and I'd definitely buy it if I had the money. The waveform has that cool pull out animation and has zedd on it so yea it's no surprise it's expensive and honestly it's not even that bad. The only one not worth the price imo is the protocol knife. It's just the default knife. Basically a better version of the singularity knife and definitely does not warrant that price tag.
