That makes sense if blind loyalty to Trump is your only consideration. Jan 6 is why she bailed but it's not uncommon for admin appointees to leave at the end of a first term. Either way, Trump is a traitor to this country so leaving was the right choice. When everyone is able to look back, post Trump, it'll be obvious to everyone, even those ashamed for enabling such darkness to curry favor.

As a Haley primary supporter, I feel betrayed. Haley spoke substantively about her policies and ideas. She had the courage to call trump out as the agent of chaos that he is. According to the polls half of our voting Americans are willing to sleepwalk like sheep right into a trump/heritage foundation directed dystopia.

I'm still a supporter and am writing in her name. I understand how you feel. It's Joe Biden s huge failure that is forcing her to do this. She is my former governor. She's a good one. It's a hard choice she is making and I understand. I've been on the fence about Trump because I want my country to be safe. I agree with his policies. But he is a bad dude. So I just can't do it. But she still has my support. My advice to you is to try and reach out to her. If you can do that, listen to her point of view.

@spudsmackenzie13 She is forced to do so since Trump oppressed the whole Republican Party like a mobster. Remember when the Congress couldn’t pass the aid for Ukraine and Israel for 6 months due to Trump’s intimidations and threats to the party’s co-members and the border security? Even on the video she said everything through her teeth and restrained anger

@@Bobfromthemall KZbin, stop deleting the comments! that ceasing to help other countries in support against authoritarian regimes will lead to a decline in America's status in the world. This will entail a deterioration of the economy, since America is as rich as it is now thanks to global involvement. Plus, after the situation in Afghanistan 2021, these regimes saw in this a weakness and an opportunity for their further actions, as an example of Ukraine and Israel. What do I mean? That isolationism will not help solve America's problem, but will only create problems like the example of World War II. Only when all countries work together for world peace and security, only then is there prosperity. And this happens throughout history

@@LMan86from an independent moderate who voted trump in 2016, I can say the same to you. You apparently support a morally bankrupt conman who has no integrity, no dignity and no sense of selflessness. A good leader will intelligently discuss policy and substantive detail . A good leader doesn’t stir up divisiveness and so readily use fear, hate and anger mongering rhetoric to rule up support. As so many of trumps opponents have said, including his VP selection, he is unfit for public office. I pray that America can heal after this election and this uncivil war where Americans aren’t standing together.

Policies under Biden term: have led to an economy that resulted in unemployment under 4% for 27 straight months which hasn’t happened since Nixon was in office, more jobs created that Trump, higher stock market/401k value than during trumps term, a leader that navigated the US through world wide inflation to the lowest inflation amongst G7 nations. Inflation is down to 3%. Remember Trump had his MAGA minions block the bipartisan border bill that was coauthored by a very conservative GOP representative and was endorsed by the border patrol….all for his selfish motive of having an issue to campaign on… Biden is a flawed candidate and like Trump probably too old to finish his next term but personally given the choice between the two, I’ll take the higher quality person (Biden) over the other candidate who is morally bankrupt, an insurrectionist, corrupt, lacks integrity, lacks dignity, admires ruthless dictators (orban, putin..), a chronic liar, puts himself over his country and has aligned himself with the extremists like the heritage foundation and is a convicted felon under 3 more legitimate criminal indictments. Per Washington post story and reiterated by CNN less than 1/3rd of a trumps former cabinet members are endorsing him. If I had a job applicant with that kind of reference history, that candidate is not getting hired. 40+ years of military and business world experience, hands down Trump is the worst example of a leader that I have ever seen.
