The rest of the things Nikki is accused of is bad, but tracing hands. Seriously she's being cancelled also for that??? I'm a 22 yr old artist went through 4 years of college learning about media and graphic design. I had a media law class which includes the subject of copyright. So I'm going to be her defender on this particular matter. She didn't take the base, traced it as a base and claimed it as her base. If that was the case then that would be a problem. She made a detailed drawing using the base as a template and transformed into something completely new so much so it's now her art. She doesn't have to credit them. It's called transformative use, look it up it's mentioned under the official US copyright law website. Ideas, concepts, systems, methods, and facts can't be copyrighted. A base is that but drawn out as a reference/template to help artists draw something correctly. If someone draws a peace sign ✌️ they don't suddenly own the peace sign and have legal control over anyone that draws a peace sign in their work. You also don't have to credit someone for using the same art style. A art style is also considered a method of drawing something a certain way and because it's a method you can't copyright people for using it. Sure it's better for her to learn to draw hands without tracing but it's not criminal for her to do it and it's also not criminal for her to not credit the person who drew the hand base. She could be nice and credit them but she doesn't have to. So many artists would be in legal trouble if this were the case.

I honestly felt something wierd when I slowly kept getting her videos in my suggestions or fyp on tiktok, and either KZbin shorts. I felt some unsettling and sort of a negative feeling about her, and her channel+content as well so whenever I see one of her vid's. I can't really help but wonder at some point lmao. Also not only that, the comments on her vid's looks like some bots and all. [And what made me laughing tho is that her character/own avatar always gets the boys/girls attracted to her, or more likely the main character sort of type who'm get's all the attention. I don't know why I find it funny but seriously, it made me cringed to the point.😭]
