My suggestion: drive from Seattle down to Dunsmuir California, to San Francisco/Oakland/Berkeley down to LA, go over to Joshua tree/Yucca Valley/29 Palms/Palm Springs over to Blyth, check out Jerome, Yuma and Bisbee Arizona, than go up to Phoenix than Tortilla Flats Arizona up to Las Vegas, than down the 4 Corners, than over to Austin then over to New Orleans (don't get robbed) than up to Memphis (Beale Street and Graceland), Nashville, than through West Virginia up to New York City. It's an extremely diverse country, most of US Americans take our entire lives to try to experience it all, I'm 40 and have only been to about 40 out of 50 states.
