Yesss Children of Bodom are so iconic that i don't even know what to recommend next lol I feel like the best introduction to their sound would be something like "Kissing the Shadows" And if you want something fun you could check "Hate crew deathroll" or maybe even "In your face"

That woman voice is actually Finnish pop-singer Jonna Geagea (earlier Kosonen). (Since COB was a Finnish band.) COB did whole album of covers. Album is called "Skeletons in a closet".

it's a bit of harmless fun that's all, I remember a number of times going to see Faith No More, where they would open their show with a cover of various early 70's songs, but on this one occasion it was Oops I Did It Again...I'm sure they did it to get a rise out of the crowd, for their own amusement..just looking around and seeing the different reactions in the crowd was hilarious, but for me personally, I loved it

If you like both metal and poppy stuff, you probably would like Sentenced. They were also from Finland, a bit like HIM but more pain and less romance. "Killing Me Killing You" is a nice one to start with.

The best thing about this was how they laughed and mocked the uptight metalheads who criticized them making of this cover. That was really glorious thing. COB guys were open to all kinds of music and they often played small snippets of pop songs at gigs.

Best Bodom songs are definitely “Chokehold” and “Trashed, Lost and Strungout” but they honestly haven’t put out a bad song before. For fun check out something from their first album like “Red Light In My Eyes, Pt. 2” Actually, listen to everything from beginning to end. But if you want something like their first albums but with better quality then Follow The Reaper is the way to go. Best production with their original style.
