I've been an AC/DC fan my whole life! I first heard them when I was about 8 years old on the Midnight Special and have been a HUGE fan ever since. RIP Bon Scott, and thank GOD they found Brian Johnson when they did! I have had a lifetime of AC/DC and my life would not have been the same without them!

You will see Rosie at the concert at 'The River Plate" concert, with the new singer ,Bryan Johnson. In 1978, I was shoehorning a V=8 motor in my little 71 Gremlin, HOT SUMMER DAY,,,, all of a sudden my cousin slide in my driveway side ways in his 74 red Vette, and yelled ' Hey ! Zoro ,,, ya wanna go see Cheap Trick and AC/DC , NOW ? i threw down the wrench, hopped in , he handed me a cold brew, and burned rubber . Wow what a time to be alive. Yes it’s true. I played in bands in the 80s and 90s in AUSTRALIA. and on one tour we had an ex AC/DC roadie on our crew. He told me the story of Rosie when he was touring with AC/DC in Tasmania in the 70s. He was one of Bon Scott’s best friends and even showed us letter Bon had written him when they did their first European tours. Classic stuff.
@RealJDGaming23 күн бұрын
Key thing to watch that’s interesting is when Angus has a problem with his guitar and needs to change it, the change is almost seamless in the sound of the music because Malcolm - the guy to the left of the drums (via our POV aka the drummer’s right) - Angus’ (lead guitarist)’s brother was so good a guitarist that he was able to fill in for Angus whenever a problem would arise all while keeping the rhythm which is what a rhythm guitarist’s job is - to keep the rhythm of the song - basically the background guitar. If you were to watch their live performance of You Shook me all Night Long live 1996 at the Plaza Toros de las Ventas, you’ll see that just before Brian starts singing, Angus snaps a string and has to change his guitar and Malcolm essentially plays lead until Angus changes his guitar which coincidentally happened to be when Malcolm would naturally enter the song anyway. He was so skilled and so smart and a HUGE loss in the musical world. Losing him in 2017 forever altered their sound.

I see one of the comments here saying there was three vocalists. That is correct. Dave Evans, ( no relation to former bass player Mark Evans, who is the only member/former member to write an autobiography on his time in the band & everything that happened after) was the original vocalist that was on their first single release. He sang, Can I sit next to you, girl on side A, & Rockin' in the Parlour on side B. He was literally kicked in the arse off stage at a gig once because they were doing a gig on tour once, & complained of having a cold & not wanting to give it his all. He was posing his satin clad arse to some girls in the front row like he was "The Show," when Angus threw his brother Malcolm a quick glance. Mal gave the nod, & as Dave turned back around, BOOT! Angus kicked him square in the arse off-stage! Bon Scott, who was their driver & sometimes fill in drummer, was asked to finish the show. Poor Dave had to watch on. Dave still claims to this day that he still belongs in the band. He even autographs Accadacca albums that he had nothing to do with. Sad!😢! But yeah, there you go!

3 singers, but the first one didn't last long. Here you see Bon Scott on vocals, he passed away in 1980. Brian Johnson is the 3rd and current vocalist. Yes, he broke a string, which necessitated the guitar change. The one lyric also said "But you give it all you got weighing in at nineteen stone". 19 stone = approx. 266 pounds.. Saw AC/DC in the mid 90's, and they used that inflatable Rosie at that show. The "Witches Burn" by The Pretty Reckless live video you watched, was opening for AC/DC.

Bon Scott was the 2nd singer of ACDC and the most appreciated by the rest of the group, he had a very strong friendship with a French group called TRUST, whose groups have known each other since 1977 or 1978. The French group was in London to prepare the album Répression which was gold in 1980 then platinum in 1981, moreover it is in the presence of this group in February 1980 that we hear Bon Scott's voice for the very last time. Moreover it was Bon Scott himself who was in charge of making the English version of the album. Ride On Bon ! kzbin.info/www/bejne/lai5g6VqlruDm8U
