Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are great buddies.. they've been in 4 movies together...some of the stuff between Tommy and Alfie is improvised...only their scenes and only some of it...they both decided that they would shoot each other on the beach at margate 😂 And the very first time Alfie meets Tommy he says " put him down, he's only little"... that was an improv 😂 Cillian is 5' 7" ! The two are fantastic together... Alfie's rambling madness and Tommy's utter stillness...great actors..how they keep straight faces I'll never know ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
@pabloc88084 ай бұрын
They don't always keep straight faces actually. When Alfie meets Aberama Gold you can see Cillian break in the background and they have to cut away from it. Happens in a few occasions where you can see Cillian's face is not laughing but his eyes are. In his defense, that's more than I could do. The only reason that Billy was able to rat on the Shelby's to their enemies is because Finn has loose lips around him since he considers Billy one of his best buddies. Finn needed to be taught a lesson and family loyalty and learning who to trust. While Tommy and Arthur would not want another brother dead, if he chose an outsider over the family, they couldn't let that stand. It should be interesting to see how Finn's storyline plays out in the movie

Thanks for all your great reactions on a fantastic series. Agree about thinking of shows in terms of tiers - it's difficult to compare shows because different series can offer very different emotions and styles. Regardless, Peaky Blinders is right up there in whatever top tier is available to put it in. Can't wait for the movie. If it never came, this episode is still a satisfying ending in so far as it provides closure for Tommy's character arc - but the business with Mosely and building towards the second world war is all there to still explore. Little bit nervous that a movie might wreck things, but the writers of the show have enough credit in the bank at this point to just make the idea of a movie a very exciting prospect!

I think Mosley would've understood the version of Tommy without kids is probably far more dangerous. I also think if you really wanted to hurt Tommy they would've killed Charlie. A man's son is typically the one that takes over after the father. Killing Ruby just doesn't make sense.
