This episode is significant because Tara comes home, but things arent as they seem. When Tara comes home she had this huge emotional reaction to seeing her kids, however, she had almost no reaction when she saw Jax. Jax took note of that and it clearly bothered him. Even though she's home, Jax can see that something isnt right.

Me too. Most are harsh on her and blame her for a lot but she is not the one to be blamed. She did everything for Jax, and it almost got her killed and her hand was damaged and now she's facing prison time. I don't blame her for resenting him and wanting out. Should she have left after the kidnap attempt, yes she should have. But she loved Jax so much, she just kept getting pulled back in. And us women can be silly like that for a guy we fall madly in love with. It's not easy to just up and leave, especially with kids and empty promises you want to believe so bad, will come to fruition. But Tara now sees the damage being with Jax is and she wants out and she shouldn't be blamed for it. She sacrificed herself and career for Jax and the club, and the thanks she gets is Jax screwing another sk*nk cause he can't control his emotions correctly and like a man should. I'm on Tara's side 💯%.

I remember watching it when it aired and I was sooo mad at his character! 14:14 Jax and Tara’s deal is different than Otto’s deal. The rule they have is if a member is in prison (not sure what the timeframe is) the wife can sleep with other members. As far as I’ve seen there’s no rule if the “Old lady” is in prison. 17:57 she really doesn’t want him a part of her investigation cause any evidence found it could be argued that he made it up cause of his sister. 25:20 he had to bash his hands so the signature would be close to Clay’s signature.

Jax didn't cheat on her because of some stupid rule. He did it for two reasons, A, because he was angry at Tara for blocking him out and telling him not to be at the hearing. and B because he is weak and immature and doesn't know how to handle emotional pain so he drowns it in Sex. And maybe a little because there was a hot woman that came on to him. I don't think he would have slept with anyone else if it wasn't for her.

I know a lot of fans hated on Tara's haircut, but I can't remember if it was the actress that played Tara or Sutter saying the haircut was an outward indication that Tara was beginning to separate herself from the club. If you go back and watch season four, especially the first episode. Tara almost looks like a mini-Gemma. Her hair, her clothing, but my season six, her style changes completely. I thought that was an interesting way to show how basically done she was with Jax and the club and Gemma.

I kind of think the tone change we're seeing starts with the little boy. This is obviously just my opinion, but here goes: Bringing that storyline in also brings us (the audience) to our senses -whether we we like it or not - and back into the reality of running guns (and all the other stuff the MC does), very realistic modern problems; this just hits harder (than, say, chopping someone's head off for abandoning "the wall" or burning them alive with your dragon) and we have to pull back from the strange "fairy tale" that is SOA... and kind of take an odd sort of accountability on our part for watching these shows in the first place (SOA, GOT, Dexter, etc.) - I watch them too, and get into them, but, by the last episode of the last season, I tend to walk away with a clenched stomach, judging myself as a human for calling some of the horror I just witnessed: "entertainment." A very strange modern human issue... no idea what the solution might be (if there is one).
