As a bass player I can say - use dingwall with Parallax plugin if you wanna play bass. I am a guitar player, bass player(primarily) and vocalist and some sort of an (not very good) audioengineer that puts everything together. When you're playing extended range baritones, its basically touching the feet of a bass. Touching feet is a sign of respect. What I also like is that its a StingRay, been using their all of their stuff so far, this really has some interesting and vast number of articulations.

I'd probably use this if I was writing songs and feeling lazy one day or for demos. Once I start writing my own songs properly I'll be writing metal, industrial and darkwave stuff with the odd bit of folk. Got into an argument with a guy about playing bass, kept saying bass was easy to play and guitar was so much harder, I handed him my bass and said, “if it’s so easy play something” he literally just sat silently staring at it dumbfounded, and I played some shitty chord progression on his guitar.
