@Dragon Ball fans can't read I feel like you can have both.. I mean there's nothing wrong with wanting to get better, competition can be healthy, just gotta remember to serve the music first and to not give up. Do you ever hear a song that's written and feel the same way about writing songs that are coherent? Because I do. You could write your opus and the next morning hear a song so we'll crafted that you feel poopy about yours a bit. If you didn't, then you aren't looking to grow any further.

That’s been there for a while tbh. Tim never takes the forefront for “solos” His Melody’s sound like solos, but even looking back on songs like G.O.A.T. Scottie really took the defined guitar solo of that track. I definitely agree it’s nice to see more of it. He’s a phenomenal player who gets shadowed sometimes by how ridiculous Tim is as composing hooks.

I find with polyphia or math rock( metal), so many hooks it's kinda hard to hum along or follow, and sweeping or appreggios or tapping every note for every chord doesn't always mean adding melody it just makes it too busy.
