@@bardknight definetely, i actually got into BMTH after amo dropped, i never liked their Deathcore era and i used to make fun of them. But man was i wrong. i actually started with amo and i really enjoyed even though i'm a metalhead, but this is the perfect balance of their older stuff and later TTS/amo softness (which i really love too)
@bardknight
@bardknight 4 жыл бұрын
@@eugenbotnaru9155 Yeah, I don't really enjoy their first records. I appreciate them for what they are and I can listen to them if I'm in a specific mindset, but they are not interesting for me. I first heard a couple of songs from Sempiternal but didn't think much of them. Then a friend told me about That's The Spirit and that's when I first got into them. I went back and actually loved Sempiternal and as they've kept releasing stuff, they've become one of my top bands. Survival Horror is at least top 3 for me this year. As shitty as 2020 has been, it's been great for music releases.
@eugenbotnaru9155
@eugenbotnaru9155 4 жыл бұрын
@@bardknight as much as old fans love to hate on amo, i think what they did was absolutely brilliant. they released amo, which is really easy to like if you've never listened to BMTH before, but it leaves you wanting more, so you search for more of their stuff, and it's much easier to appreciate after you've had a bit of experience with the band and their newer stuff. that's how you turn regular people into listening metalcore, brilliant. and BMTH could only play pop and techno for the rest of their careers and i wouldn't have a problem with it, because they manage t do it awesomely and with high quality, still complex. i don't have a problem when bands change style if the final result is great and still has their signature

Anywho, 1.I was obviously referring to the great band Linkin Park was ,before that one more light diarrhea. 2.You fail to realize that, you're calling a song that sounds similar to ,two non pop bands (read point 1 again before you call Linkin park a pop band again) a pop song which makes ZERO sense... Is there poppy crap in this song? Of course, the autotuned verses and nova twins, but if you're calling this pop, then architects aka the most notable band to basically rip off the That's the spirit album formula and fuse it with metalcore, a complete pop band...

Favourite song of this album hands down. The whole things bangs. The contrast between the piano and Lee's chugs and riffs is just tasty. It's just a fucking awesome track.

Really glad you put the Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin perspective in this. Between the emotion and the chorus's I absolutely feel those bands in this. I've had the this songs chorus's stuck in my head all day. Smashing reactions though 5 Nicks out of 5.

There are other bans but there is no other BMTH. We are listening to rock music at its best. Nothing comes close unless you look back at the classics.
