I listen to bands rather than genres, I listen to a band and I try to listen to similar bands which were present during that timeline and then you compare and contrast with other genres and then you realize you're already pretty much covered up in that genre, I got like an 8/10 Nu-metal because I mostly listen to 90s and early 2000s alternative metal stuff!
