A lot of animal ones are easier to tell because they don't scream the same as humans. Usually one of those insane sounding animal screams comes from like an "ehh" sound, which isn't super easy for humans to scream, which is why they usually go "ooo" or "eee"

Honestly the most similar experience I can give is living in mountainous parts of the US and hearing mountain lions and coyotes screaming all night, it sounds like women just being murdered in the woods all night, pretty horrifying as it echos through the trees and you can't tell where the screaming is from.
