@@TheAndostro oh for sure im a vocalist as well, but alex has crazy projection, plus nik isnt a loud singer like he said- and the mic has the same levels as alexs mic too. So nik was over powered. Regardless still crazy cool for nik to be on stage with them! So proud of him!

You know, it seems like Nik and Corpse Husband employ a similar technique in their music. It gives the impression that they crank up the treble to 200% to capture all the subtle vocals; I really am not a fan of that kind of music; it's too artificial in a way; trying to do deep voices but can't do it naturally. However, when it comes to performing live, they would struggle because they're used to singing without exerting much effort. Nik did say he doesn't like performing but to be frank I just think he's not well-suited for live performances and should consider moving on from that technique and focusing on improving their skills in other areas.

One thing I've learned from performing in front of audiences (as a classical singer) is that most people either don't hear your mistakes, or they don't care about the mistakes. As long as you look confident while performing, the audience will enjoy the show despite any small mistakes along the way. So, despite the parts you think could've gone better, the audience (including the internet/KZbin audience) clearly loved the fact that you performed with Slaughter to Prevail. I hope more bands that tour will ask you to perform with them when they come to Toronto.
