Welcome to From Softwares newly released DLC to Elden Ring called, Shadow of the Erdtree. In todays video we will speedrun through the whole dlc and beat the final boss Radahn, Consort of Miquella without using any glitches and without dying once in about 1 hour. Have fun ^_^.

Sure, for most of the run i used +25 heavy starfists with the cragblade ash of war + golden halberd for the golden vow buff + flame, grant me strength incantation. As for talismans I used the Axe + ritual sword + viridian amber medalion for a high hitting build with lots of stamina. For Radahn I switched out the starfists for a +25 bleed bandit curved sword with the seppuku ash of war and paired it with the buckler shield to parry radahn easily (on top of that i used the dragoncrest shield talisman in order to reduce the damage he can inflict significantly + I also got an armor from the finger maiden that offers good holy resistance + physical damage reduction) ^_^.

Great video. Some information to all readers who are struggling. All the bosses can be done hitless. And on this comment I’ll focus on Radahn phase 2 tips. The “easy mode” surprisingly is to stay near him with a carian retaliation parry and a dagger with the highest critical damage. So the Misericorde with Dagger Talisman. And the shield talisman from Leyndel to avoid any 1 shot if you’re on NG+7 (true 1 shot, getting comboed is up to you). Outside the parry, here are ideas and moves to watch out for if you’re fighting with any weapon with any build. Radahn phase 2 does EMOTES. He will either show you 1 sword or 2 sword. 1 means he will throw a Miquella Disk at you. 2 means he will perform the gigantic Disk AoE attack. Teleportations have many variants. Here are some points to look out for. When he pull you in and you either eat the attack or rolled into him, he will do the gravity storm… TWICE! One natural, and the other is a teleport fake out where the last one is a repeat of the storm. Simply run away and you will dodge it, watch out for walls. Regular attack. On phase 2 he is basically phase 1 with a new game of blessing lasers. There are 3 variants. 1) regular slashes do frontal laser follow ups. 2) “Thrust” straight attacks do a laser sniper attack that will requiere you to roll to the sides to avoid the follow up. 3) SLAMS. The most dangerous that everyone is eating when I help people via summon. SLAMS will create a AoE explosion of blessing lasers. Depending on your range you might have to react to them coming at you. Or if you’re close simply from into him. Can avoid rolling all together if you’re brave and are LITERALLY INSIDE THE BOSS. Which is good because unless you’re behind him, you’ll be on recovery from dodging the original slam if you’re in front of him. Another teleport. Going up and slashing a “thrust”. 2 variants. A) does it as a combo starter. Once he does the final slash he will convert into a regular combo. This one is player friendly since it allows for restarting the “staying inside him” strat. Otherwise it’s good cause if you make range, you will safely throw a projectile because of the follow up slashes after dodging the ranged bless laser. B) he will do the teleporting after the meteorite attack. This one can be more dangerous. Because you need to create certain distance to avoid the clones or simply have light roll cause that generally speaking makes clone dodging easier. While the teleporting looks the same as A. The follow up will lead to a SLAM. So people who ate meteorite will eat the explosion while chugging Estus. Another teleport. Frontal teleport to your right side. This one is the only one he does grounded close range. However he has 2 teleports grounded. But the second one happens at range. The close range exclusive version is actually easy. It will whiff cause he is doing it to a ranged target with clones. But your close range self will have to look out for a ranged bless attack (number 2 in this explanation). The other ranged variant however will do a slash attack that lead to number 1 blessing laser follow up. Finally he has a “death combo”. Many attacks with his swords imbued in Holy. Looks scary. But on close range it’s an easy dodge. Mid-range however. You’ll need to worry about both blades and follow up bless shots. But again. Not scary since all the blessings attacks are number 1 slash attacks, not any 2 ranged what so ever. So dodge back constantly. However, 1 exception. The final attack might not look like it. But the bless follow up is a SLAM! 2 rules to worry after successful constant rolling during the previous attacks. 1) the attack has a delay. All the previous rolling should be mindless constant roll. But the final one will hit if you don’t delay the roll a bit. 2) considering you rolled back all the other follow ups to avoid the number 1 lasers. Rolling into him might not be an option do to sword + bless hitbox. Instead. After the delay. Do a DIAGONAL left/right dodge. With this mindset I’ve been able to consistently dodge the death combo ranged variant. Finally. A grab. This is a very weak punishable attack. He can do it randomly. However here are 2 look outs to guarantee a punisher mindset. The meteorite throw into teleport and then SLAM. It has a grab follow up very frequently. A combo that ends in SLAM and you stayed near… EVEN MID RANGE ACTUALLY. So general rule. SLAMS ARE REWARDED WITH GRABS. I don’t know the dialogue. But if you get grabbed 2 times it’s game over. I learned mastery over the fight by making a save and fighting repeatedly. Obviously muscle memory is an incredible thing and I’ve beaten him no hit damage with a variety of weapons. I always prefer these games with a straight sword and thing Sekiro’s weapon basically behaved like a straight sword. However, as I said phase 1 knowledge translates to 2. One of my favorites is using OP Lion’s Claw as a punish for SLAMS. Dodge to his sides and when he does the slam, you will position yourself behind him and inside him. The hitbox of the slam recovery is very small on his back (and gigantic forward). So you should do the ability with 0 or minimal damage depending on your position. But because you’re inside him. In phase 2 the SLAM explosion is a none factor.

And finally. “Let me solo Them”. While I have perfomed the service for our fellow players. There are issues. With Malenia. Noobs would die on phase 2 sometimes by eating the intro Bloom. Radahn 2 has too many AoEs. And people watching you will actually get comfortable and get close to watch… leading to death by laser 2 and 3 and even the “emote 2 swords”. And if that wasn’t enough. The meteorite will do the job sometimes. So please. If you want to get carried. People who solo don’t get mad if you want to join. However if you don’t want to join. Please bring equipment to avoid getting 1 shot. Shield talisman alone should make any TRUE 1 shot imposible. Then there are the fortifications gate barriers if you need them.

I was at scadutree level 13 + I switched in a +2 dragon crest shield talisman to increase the physical demage reduction by a lot. Now combined with the rellana armor you can get from the finger maiden which has high physical + holy damage reduction and respecing into a high arcane bleed build (which adds a lot of flat holy damage reduction for phase 2) and partial parrying with the buckler lead to phase 2 of radahn dealing quite a bit less damage when with a non optimized build. So I can highly recommend going for a similar build ^_^.

Great run, I am currently stuck on Radahn but am I the only one who's framerate drops HARD in the second phase? And I have a really good PC, 3080Ti, 32RAM,... It really makes it difficult to dodge all the bs following his attacks.

Any tips for how to do Rellana so cleanly? I can't find consistent openings to get in charged heavies like you do here in many of her patterns, sometimes she just sits back and camps, and other times she'll do one of those super long 9 hit combos where there seems to be no opening until the end, and her poise will often regenerate by then making it hard to get a stagger.

I recommend going for charged r2 when she does her overhead double crossslash + once you have guard break her just keep charging r2 attacks during her phase 2 transformation to guard break her again and end the fight quickly (you could also use a Bloodfiend's Arm with the blood infusion to proc bleed with every charged attack, as long as you level arcane high enough) ^_^.

Only reason I was able to beat DLC Radahn on NG+7 was because antspur rapier with bleed exists but the amount of damage and health he has on NG+7 is insane if you summon 2 other people he has 133K it’s wild also nice video man keep up the good work :)

Sure, stat wise you wanna have at least 50 points in vigor to survive most of the attacks in the dlc, 30 points in endurance to be able to wear decent armor and have enough stamina to chain together attacks, 15 points in faith in order to be able to cast flame grant me strength + golden vow and at least 80 points in strength to hit the hard cap when it comes to weapon damage. As for the equipment I had. For most of the run i used +25 heavy starfists with the cragblade ash of war + golden halberd for the golden vow buff + flame, grant me strength incantation. As for talismans I used the Axe + ritual sword + viridian amber medalion for a high hitting build with lots of stamina. For Radahn I respeced to get arcane to about 50 points for the added holy damage defense + bleed buildup increase, switched out the starfists for a +25 bleed bandit curved sword with the seppuku ash of war and paired it with the buckler shield to parry radahn easily (on top of that i used the dragoncrest shield talisman in order to reduce the damage he can inflict significantly + I also got an armor from the finger maiden that offers good holy resistance + physical damage reduction) ^_^.

Side note, you can skip this boss completely and go straight to shadow keep. Effectively you only have to kill messmer, boss before burning, npc and final

it might, but it would also make the radahn fight a bit harder since I relied on parrying him to get through the boss (and a summon like the mimic tear would disctract him too often to parry him consistently) ^_^.

For 2 same weapons yes, for 2 items from remembrance - no. You can copy remembrances in Mausoleums from main game or in DLC u got coffin that copy remembrance for example near church with Manus npc

You probably have to start NG+ from the roundtable if you want multiple unique dlc weapons (thankfully you can skip most of the main game afterwards by just doing varre's quest line in order to get the blood knight's medal) ^_^.

I am glad that you enjoyed the run, also a blackflame/scarlet rot build should have an easier time against radahn since it deals percentage based damage and both statuses can stack ^_^.

Thank you and the dancing lion boss is 100% optional, since you get to the area behind him after beating messmer + romina which are both mandatory bosses to progress in the dlc ^_^.

That would be due to the ritual sword talisman which grants you +10% attack power while you are at full hp ^_^.

Would love a clear shot of the equipment you used in the run at the end or something in the description! There are a few spots where I can pause to see what you were using but it would be really convenient if you added and pinned a comment with it all. Awesome run it was super fun to watch!

Thank you I am glad that you enjoyed the run, also let me quickly sum up what I equipment I had. For most of the run i used +25 heavy starfists with the cragblade ash of war + golden halberd for the golden vow buff + flame, grant me strength incantation. As for talismans I used the Axe + ritual sword + viridian amber medalion for a high hitting build with lots of stamina. For Radahn I switched out the starfists for a +25 bleed bandit curved sword with the seppuku ash of war and paired it with the buckler shield to parry radahn easily (on top of that i used the dragoncrest shield talisman in order to reduce the damage he can inflict significantly + I also got an armor from the finger maiden that offers good holy resistance + physical damage reduction) ^_^.
