I love the RV. it's in good condition for it's age. You could almost live in it full time. If it was mine I would seriously consider putting solar panels on the roof and higher amp batteries so you are not relying on the noisy generator all the time.

I don't know when you went to Florida but the weather looked good. Here in the UK the whole country is FREEZING but it is winter so we cannot complain! I am glad you got back home safely, you always take a chance with these things. Having said that I think you got a good deal on both of those campers even with some work to do on them. Before you know it Michael the camping season will be here so you have the winter to do the repairs and then you can 'get them out the door'. The blue stuff on the splines is ceramic grease . If you draw a line on the yoke before you take the shaft out it will go back together without a hammer.

I always find myself wondering why you don’t have a 5-gallon fuel can full of cue when you go to Copart to pick up a motorhome? They ALWAYS have very little fuel in the tank, and you have to drive “on fumes” to get to a gas station.

Can someone in America explain to me why they choose a petrol engine instead of a diesel for such a large camper? They are a lot more economical and have a lot more torque. Also because you generally drive longer distances with a camper. Maybe very logical, but for someone from Europe (the Netherlands in this case) not so much

I told MIKE that anybody who uses a hammer on a driveshaft or U joints needs to find another job I changed the rear U joint on the last motorhome. and didn't. use a hammer . SCRUBS still say NIKO BROS OTAY |
