You really can't blame him for capitalizing on such an easy opportunity. In general, people do not tend to follow diet recommendations. Even when the situation is severe, they prefer to keep their diets even though it's literally killing them. I'm not surprised this guy stopped being a nutritionist. It's irritating knowing exactly what people need to do to live healthier lives just for them to put aside your advice in favor of a few burgers. It's not ethical to do what he's doing, but in his own way he's helping people get exactly what they want and is up front about it. It's enabling poor diets, but the bad diet didn't start with him, and it's certainly not going to end with him 🤷

My understanding is that a doctor founded this restaurant in frustration from his patients dying needlessly while he pleaded and begged them to eat healthy. He decided to just get rich and sell them what they wanted, terribly unhealthy food, in response to the fact that they would ignore his pleas as their doctor anyway. Honestly, if that story is accurate (I'm not sure if it is or not) it is pretty haunting and dark. Also, the free food for 350lb+ people is genius marketing. It gets everyone interested, for different reasons though. Healthy-eating people are disgusted and unhealthy-eating people are excited for free food; either way people are thinking about the product.

@latreaselipsey93763 жыл бұрын
This could be a whole ass horror movie. Think about it: You live in America and pride yourself in eating (or you're just normal and pride yourself in being a healthy weight). Your friends take you to the Heart Attack Grill and after a few bites, you become dangerously hooked on the food. Something about it is just incredibly delicious! The nurses treat you well and the doctor is charismatic and charming to you but there are a few choice lines he says that kinda put you off. Still, you continue to enjoy yourself. After finishing and heading home, you can't help but want more. You crave more of the food. So the next day, you go to eat there. You are treated the same and you feel right at home! This goes on for weeks and as you keep eating, you notice your weight is rapidly increasing and your body in getting fatter way too quickly but you don't pay any mind to it. After a while, you notice that a lot of the other fat people who normally came to the grill suddenly aren't there anymore. It's just skinny people. You're the only big one there. You question the nurses and they tell you that the diet has worked and now they're bed ridden which puts a slight shiver down your spine. Still, you continue to eat. Suddenly, you hear something from the back and question the nurse about it. They say it's nothing and tell you to keep eating. You follow orders but you still feel curious about the noises. When the nurse disappears, you rush to the back only to see the sickly bodies of the fat people who used to eat there. Some are barely alive, some are dead and some are literally in surgery because guess what? The food you're eating is also part human! Ah yes, just like in Hansel and Gretel, they were fattening you up so they could used you for their food. With this new knowledge, you flee from the restaurant and immediately start to change your life to be healthy and now everytime you see junk food, you can almost see the doctor from the corner of your eye smiling. Waiting for you to become fat again so he can use you.

@yusofmansor33492 жыл бұрын
It's actually kinda sad, the bald dude is the owner of the restaurant. Watched an interview with him in it quite a few years back. He was an actual heart surgeon working with morbidly obese people trying to get them back to good health. After years of dealing with patients refusing to take their health and wellbeing seriously he just went "You know if these people don't even care about themselves or their loved ones enough to keep themselves healthy, I might as well help them kill themselves." And thus the Heart Attack Grill was born. Kinda crazy when you think about it. Dude's literally the definition of "You either die a hero or live long enough to watch yourself become the villain".

I looked it up, and it happened all the way back in 2011. The spokesman for Heart Attack Grill, John Alleman, died from a heart attack after consuming the food. Regardless of the warnings I really suggest none of you going there unless you're an adrenaline junky or just really high on testing your luck.

This is just my rule of thumb that I live by everyday: "If you're heavy enough to get free food at the Heart Attack Grill, you need to lose at least 200 pounds because God save any chair you use." Edit: I'm 6'1 so I didn't notice it but I weighed myself quite a while back recently and I discovered I was 327lb pushing 330lb, and taking my own advice I started taking my weight lose journey seriously now I've dropped down to 318lb. Even though I've still been eating fast food I typically eat primarily grilled chicken sandwiches, I'll also eat grilled chicken with white rice with primarily teas but sometimes juices, I obviously have been drinking a lot of water (because there is no such thing as "water weight"). Red meat isn't entirely cut from my diet but it is heavily restricted. Soft drinks are however. And I'll eat in the morning and in the evening with one light snack in between. Since my work is a distance from my house I always go walking to burn off the calories and sweat off the weight. I believe if I keep at it I could force my body to use up the stored energy to lose more weight. ⚠️ Disclaimer⚠️ I am not a medical professional and this is not health advise, if you follow my diet that is entirely on you. I am not responsible for whatever complications you may go through. I am just simply explaining my journey to not become the next Nickocado Avocado. Weight update December 2022: I am now 297lbs and I couldn't be more elated 47 more pounds till I can happily say I'm 250lbs Weight update February 2023: I am now 280-279lbs

What's even worse is that the restaurant even had two spokesmen who died from heart attacks when they've eaten a lot of their food.

This whole damned video feels like a fever dream. It reminds me a lot of those people who get in a relationship with a "feeder" only to get fatter and fatter, thinking it's what the feeder wants, only to die with their so-called love of their life never even caring and moving on to their next victim. It's disgusting.

@@5cover Yeah, you're not wrong. It's kind of like the Hansel and Gretel trope, only way weirder and an overexaggerated American stereotype. Only if America were in hell. You know what, someone just make a movie about this already.
