Those 1;2;3;5;6 is just Pentatonic major scale which is very popular among all those good and catchy melodies

Could you breakdown the music of Andrew Bayer? Tracks like Once Lydian and Do Androids Dream part 2. His music, similar to Avicii’s, is fairly simple sounding but evoke a lot of emotion. I’d love to see your explanation of how he achieves it and what’s going on music theory wise.
