He raises more players floors higher than anyone I’ve ever seen. Sga is helping okc get a 70 win pace team when he plays and okc is miserable on offence without him as well based on the mavs game without Luka that they lost to. Sga also missing Chet and still helping okc be firmly in top of the west by a large margin too. Jokic has better overall numbers and productivity than SGA. His impact numbers like plus/minus and differential between when he's on the court and off it are staggering and clearly superior to SGA. He's having arguably one of the greatest if not the greatest offensive seasons in league history. The Nuggets are in great position to grab the 2 or 3 seed in the brutal west. SGA playing great and absolutely deserves his accolades. But OKC wins 50-55 games w/out him. Nuggets w/out Jokic are bottom of the lottery, In terms of value to his team, Jokic is the clear choice. Not if okc is way ahead of everyone in the west while missing Chet most of the season and harteinstein half the games and also sga is the reason they are where they are because as demonstrated in luka less mavs game without sga, the okc thunder offence looked lifeless and even when shai soesnt play during the game, okc offence plummets. So sga impact is insane. Sga also averages more points, steals and blocks and better win shares and free throw percentage and midrange scorer than Jokic. However Jokic averages more assists and rebounds and PER and 3 point percentage though. This is like a tossup at best if okc continues dominating with shai on the court playing they’re on pace for 70 wins when he plays this season without Chet mostly. I got sga for mvp if he and okc continues this dominance during the rest of the season unless Denver closes the gap in seeding but if not it’s sga mvp

@@dewman7477 Even without Shai, the thunder have the best defense in the league. That's what wins them games. Lets be honest Shai only has more points because of the free throws, which he doesn't deserve to get more of as Jokic is easily the most fouled player in the league. Jokic doesn't even play the 4th quarter a lot of the time even if he's 1 assist of a triple double. Realistically the only reason he's ahead of him is the seeding, at this point they're just awarding the best team and not the best player. Shai is still amazing tho, if he wins its not a robbery but i still think Jokic deserves it. He is the definition of valuable. plus he revived Westbrook, that alone should win him MVP
