I don’t think the Nuggets can win the championship if any of their starting 5 get hurt. Mayyyybee without KCP they could still do it, but it’s iffy. However, if they are healthy, they are the best starting 5 in basketball. Maybe not in terms of talent, but in terms of fit, chemistry, and overall production there isn’t any 5 better. However, I do think they could use a big time role player, preferably a versatile scoring option, as a 6th or 7th man off the bench. Not sure who they could get, but I’d be willing to offer a pick swap or two plus a few young contracts in order to get one.
