Nikola is one of the greatest to ever play the game. His spin moves, his uncanny accuracy shooting all kinds of mid range and post area shots. And his passing forget about it. Nobody really does it better. And he puts in all out effort at the other end to make up for his athletic shortcomings. He is that dude right now in the league.

I can't believe I'm actually old enough to see the best basketball player in the world be a slow, unathletic white guy... TWICE! And I say this as a black man, the son of a militant muslim man, that taught me the importance of meritocracy... who also REVERED Larry Bird. He used to tell me, "when you can ball, you can ball, I don't care what color you are". It taught me how to see people for what they contribute to the world and how to recognize greatness regardless of skin tone. It's an honor and true pleasure to see Joker ball and play the game the right way!

I’ve had this exact thought on my mind for years now, and feel like the individualist culture of the US has proven horrible in so many ways. We’ve forgotten how to educate and teach our youth proper manners, how to design a city/suburb, and how to act in public. To make things worse, other developed countries have working systems in place and yet we proceed to send money abroad or to defense spending instead of making internal improvements. Imagine the interest being paid on our national debt and the amount of money we used on policing the world for no reason 😅

Other than his height you'd think there's no way he could compete with today's athletes who are way more agile & faster, yet he surpasses them all. While chest beaters are begging for attention after every good play & people roar with excitement, Jokic moves on to the next play. When he doesn't succeed, he moves on the same way. He leads by example, one that every parent should point to as a roll model for their kids. We sorely needed it at a time when most are pointing fingers, he's using them to get the job done. You want a better America, take some pointers from a guy who grew up elsewhere.

Too many of these guys think they are gods gift to the world, meanwhile they are selfish, only care about their personal numbers and stats and how they appear in public. Why is it that most of us that grew up overseas international have Nikolas attitude including international blacks but American black is another breed. They view that attitude as confident young black man, proud, swag, hunger to win . That’s all BS . It’s unattractive and terrible look and image for the youth to look up to. I like Ant. He’s cocky but he has the game to back it up unlike Ja. Do people forget how arrogant and cocky Muhammad Ali, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Deion Sanders all were as athletes? Steve Jobs was arrogant and cocky. MJ showed up in the ‘85 ASG with a gold chain around his neck and still wore it when participating in the dunk contest. Larry Bird was the biggest trash talker there ever was. “Which mfer is coming in 2nd?” Kobe was called Showboat by his teammates as he would attempt 360 dunks in a breakaway in his first two years. I like what Ant is saying and doing here. It shows he’s not afraid of these defending champions. He’s fearless. It can motivate him for Game 5. He did show up for this game except the other guys didn’t. And this was after he held accountability for the Game 2 loss. I do think Minnesota will eventually lose this series whether it’s in 6 or 7. Minnesota and OKC are showing their inexperience already after a good start. Denver might be to Ant what Detroit was to MJ. The last obstacle before getting over the hump to win a ring. His team is not ready for it yet. He is but not his teammates similar to MJ from ‘88 to ‘90. Scottie and Horace were still a bit too soft. KAT remains soft. It’s still Denver’s reign as champs for the next 2-3 years. Ant will eventually get a ring but he needs to taste the losing and heartbreaks first. Denver is my favorite team still playing but Ant is my favorite player to watch. Great personality. There’s an alpha dog in him.

Not too cocky because he compliments teammates and opponents with respect.

Ant is cocky but not mean about it. MJ was cocky but demeaning to others.

Disagree that Ja Morant doesn't have the game to back it up. I mean the Memphis Grizzlies were a playoff team with a healthy Ja. Question going forward, is will the Grizz organization be able to trust Morant, that he will grow and learn from, his off the court mistakes.

Conley not helping Wolves...despite relentless praise by Reg Miller. I dont know why..but i can see Pacers Mconnell on this team..and would be like AntMans Jon Paxson.

I wonder how long Jokic will play? Basketball is not his favorite sport. It’s horse racing. He’s only playing basketball as a means to an end. Yao only played 9 seasons.

You can love multiple activities in life. My guess is Jokic will play around 13 to 15 years ... Depends how his body holds up. You don't play the way Jokic plays without loving the game. Yao Ming loved the game but his body betrayed him. That was always a what if ... What could Ming and McGrady have done if they were only able to stay healthy together.

It depends but one thing is for sure, injury will never be the reason for his closing act, man barely take risky moves after all. He's probably gonna peace out like Timmy.

He's not the greatest basketball player on his team! How is he the best in the world? The league is forcing players to say it. That's why everyone uses the exact same phrase. I've never even heard the phrase " best in the world" used outside of a movie. It's disrespectful...
