Nikola Jokic - Super Skilled Center/Postup Powerhouse (Playoff Scoring 2020)

Nikola Jokic. 2019 All-NBA First Team. 2020 All-NBA Second Team. 2x NBA All-Star. 2016 All-Rookie First Team. 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist. Easily one of the best passing big men of all time - arguably the greatest, but that’s for others to debate. Against NBA title favorites in the LA Clippers, he led BOTH teams in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks. Since the NBA began tracking blocks in 1973-74, he is only the THIRD player ALL-TIME to do that in a playoff series. The other two? LeBron James and Kevin Garnett.
Jokic also helped Denver to become the FIRST team to pull off consecutive comeback down 3-1 in a playoff run.
Nikola had an effective field goal percentage of 57.9 in the 2020 playoffs on 51.9/42.9/83.5 shooting splits.
What else can really be said about Jokic that hasn’t already been said?
There’s not really much to say about Jokic that hasn’t already been said. Fantastic footwork, unreal vision, terrific touch, brilliant balance ESPECIALLY for a guy his size, and offensive arsenal that makes even the most dominant defender dizzy, and he’s got a signature shot that he can literally launch for almost anywhere, at any time.
Speaking of the Sombor Shuffle, the most amazing aspect of it isn’t that it’s a one-legged fade away that he can line up from distance - it’s that he’s shooting it off of his right leg. If you’ve ever tried it, you know there’s some difficulty to it from a balance and core strength standpoint, but to shoot it from range and with such consistency? Good-ness.

Amazing style of game. Low with his hips in front of his opponent,use his body strenght to protect the ball,stand and shoots on one leg in his unique layup. He's very good on catch and shoot and also on ftl. Yes,definitively the best center in today's League. I love to compare him to Arvydas Sabonis.

I've come to the conclusion that yogurt is very very very strong and very good at knowing how to push his weight around because he bullies people on the block. But he also is getting like 4 to 5 dribbles. Normal big men they get 2 or 3 dribbles before they have to make a move or give it up because Guards are coming over the top to look to strip you but you can't do that with yoke it's because hes such a great passer so that's why he makes it look so easy in the paint because it doesn't get double teamed
