Ok so please rewind the play starting at 3:00 and watch it multiple times. Look at Jokic's head for the entire play, even before he gets the ball. Not once does he look at his teammate in the corner. Not once. Hes actually looking at the opposite corner where all the defense is. As soon as the corner defender sags off just enough to enter Jokic's peripheral vision, Jokic throws a blind pass to his teammate, whom he did not even look at one time the entire play. He just knows exactly where his teammate will be, and that as soon as his defender enters the slightest bit into the corner of his eyesight, that is the cue to rocket a dime for the cleanest look you can hope to get in the NBA. KCP nails it and admirably acknowledges to Jokic what and incredible pass that was. Mindblowing. Jokic deserves MVP, one of the craziest plays ive seen

They had the best clutch defense this season because in the 4th, Jokic can actually step up defensively without worrying he will get in foul trouble, and every team is trying to put him there.

The closest comparison that comes to mind looking at Jokic is Larry Bird. They really have A LOT in common. Like Bird, NJ has very high IQ, fantastic grasp of where his teammates are and how the play evolves, his assists are out of this world and also has top tier scoring abilities. He also gets out the best of his teammates. All that despite being rather slow and not very explosive. Are there any other Larry Bird boxes that I haven't ticked?
