I have the same lens on my Nikon Z50 and I have no issues with it. I got it on eBay for $1600. I use a tripod because my hands are weak. It was a great purchase for me. Great video. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Hi love the content you do very informative.. I have a question regarding the Black rapid harness you are using.. do you feel it is secure enough.. I’m looking for a comfortable but secure harness for my Z9 and 180-600..

Thanks! I have used it for 6 years, so I'm sure its secure enough. Certainly a worthy investment.

Which skin you've applied on the camera? That looks so cool

Hey man, its from AlphaGvrd. Theres a video on the channel about installing it. Its great... if you enjoy making models of things lol. Very time consuming on the Z9.

At 2:10 you can hear how rough the collar is when it’s rotated. Those like me, that use a monopod, need the collar to freely rotate if , for example, you’re tracking a bird. That’s why I got a replacement.

Why does the sound affect tracking a bird? Also remember my lav might is right next to the collar.

How do you rate the AF? It seems that in the case of Nikon, ML is still not as competitive with other systems as it was in the case of DSLRs.
@MannsWoodlandPerspective4 ай бұрын
It tracks fighter jets with precision. The auto focus is great. What do you mean by ML?

@@MannsWoodlandPerspective thank you for the reply and info in the video. If I compare the D6 with the competition and the Z8/9 with the competition, it seems to me that Nikon is still catching up now. Especially when it comes to the speed of focus acquisition. Canon (Sony probably as well) seems to be better/faster. What do you think about it?

When it comes to bird eye autofocos, Nikon is even or has an edge. I know several Sony A1 users who wish they had that. The rest of the autofocos is on par. Many of those cameras don't have equal video options either. The focus is probably close enough to not even worry about it. If you miss the shot with a Nikon camera with the Expeed 7 chip, it's not because of the name on the logo. Don't let social media let you assume there's some 20-30% gap between the flagships of the big 3. And I know for certain the Z9 is heads and tails above a D6.

@@MannsWoodlandPerspective Don't get me wrong. I shoot exclusively Nikon, but I watch a lot of reviews. I'm always interested in what I see, not the comment in the video. It is still visible that ML Nikon are "hesitating" when focusing, whether they have focused or not: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHK7aGyQgJKFbLc There is a reason, why the others are better in low light... Probably the Z9 is better than the Z8 and hopefully the Z6 III will be as well...

After watching that video, I've never experienced that. I shoot the 180-600 wide open at 6.3 so there's no difference between what the lens could open to and what it stops down to for taking the image. But it is interesting for those using wider aperture lenses that need to stop down using eye auto focus.
