This bad boy is still a beast even close to 2022 now. I own a D800,D810, D610 but I trade of of them for 2 D3s, absolutely a beast, top build quality, excellent af, never regret of getting 2 of them.

Still holds up at soon to be 2025. My main camera accompanied by the Df. I bought my D3s in 2018 and It's been through heavy snow & rain and is still operating like new. @@spencerort7350

D3s is a great camera. I use it for photo journalism and sport photography.

@@jbruiz I hear the 2DX / D200 sensors (CCS & CMOS) had better color rendering & output than D3 / D700 generation? I have the D700 (with grip) but was looking for a second body. I like the pro bodies (D2/D3) but the D200 caught my eye too

@@joshblank1 I have several D200's and D300's. I prefer the images from the D200's every time

@@joshblank1 I have a D2H a D200 and a D3. The D3 looks basically always better. The Bayer filter frequency pass ranges are different between ccd and cmos I believe. Which yields different color, not better color. It's personal taste which looks better, but when editing raw files the D3 colors and detail always outperform the other two.
