I had the 150-600, but sold it to get the Nikon 200-500. Much better VR...it made me want to take the lens with me all the time. The Sigma just looked too shaky through the lens.

I debated getting that lens, but ended up buying another Sigma Contemporary as I've had great results with it! 😊

PoeticFlair Photography Hi. Sorry for the late reply! All these shots were taken handheld. I never use a tripod, but I do occasionally lean on something close by such as a fence post, this is just to relieve my arms as holding the heavy lens up ready to take a photo becomes hard work after a few seconds.

Hello Carl were some of these photos taken far away where the 600mm end of the lens was a requirement. In other words is the lense sharp at 600 mm on far way subjects? Thanks

PoeticFlair Photography Hi there. Most of these pics were taken between 500 and 550mm. I always pull the zoom back a little because it is a little soft at 600mm, but not too bad. It's a cracking lens! 👍
