Nikon D600/D610 in 2022: The BEST and the CHEAPEST Full Frame DSLR!

I bought my d600 used online from a camera store a friend had recommended , nearly 6 years later It is still producing excellent quality and the sensor has never needed to be cleaned , I use AI,AIS and AI converted lenses most of the time but have also used AFS and screw drive AF lenses as well . I also have my D7000 I bought new when the D7100 was introduced and the D7000 prices fell. I intend to get another D600/610 from the same store in the future.

In terms of dynamic range and color depth, Nikon D610 leaves all canons far behind! And also, according to the working ISO, Nikon D610 is higher than Canon EOS 6D, it is not clear where the author of the video got muddy data about ISO. In general, Nikon D610 scores 94 points, and Canon EOS 6D only 82 points, this is a huge gap!!! I have the D7000 and just jumped a few minutes ago and bought the D600 after watching your review! I also have the D7500, but it's still in my Camera bag and really don't use it; it's too plasticky Thanks for the input!

I have the D600 for a couple of years. Coming from the film camera area, I personally do not struggle much using it. It is a robust camera that can take you to close to 1000 pics on a battery charge. I really enjoy the Nikon lenses accumulated over the years but my best combo with this camera is the 50mm1.4 lens.

I get one d600 for 200$, 50f1.8D for 30$ , 70-210 f4 for 45$ , it kill all camera combo even 5d mark iii

The D600 is a perfectly good camera. Yes, it will give you professional results.

Started with a D5300 (APS-C) then a D610 came to me - although I also got a Z7 I still use the D610 for landscape and astrophotography.

I have been using a D600 since 2018. It's a Nice camera. But it does struggle in low-light situations though. I certainly wouldn't call it a PRO DSLR. But for the money, it's a great starting point to get into Full Frame.

@@GadgetRevNow I have been using it for concerts. At badly lit small venues it does start to show its age. But as long as you don't take it into the extremes (like dark moshpits of Doom en punk as I like to do) , you should be fine

Never been interested in these cameras cause of the sensor problems. So I mean the oil spots. Same goes for the D750. It had 4 call backs. Not that all D600/610 cameras are bad but resale valua is extremely low. You can get them now for 400 bucks or so. Rather get a D700 for that price.

I've just bought one in Apr 20224. I sold my Z6 as it just didn't excite me and I don't like EVFs. The I.Q. is fine: the D610 RAW files as good as Z6 RAW files (although the Z6 would go to higher ISO values.) I'm happier with DSLRs .

...well, you've wisely (and cheaply) paired it with a G lens. And it's pretty cool how you generate video content by constantly touching and moving a camera. You've got "cheap" genes, dude!

No. The D7200 does; it's a DX format camera, 24Mpix. OUTSTANDING image quality but DX is a 1.5X crop factor. 50mm on DX is like 75mm on FX. Good for tele, not so much for wide angle - 28mm on DX provides the same field of view as a 43mm on FX.
