I think that is the best review of a D810 on youtube. D810 is a beast of a camera. Buy it if you like to print big poster size pictures. Dynamic range and sharpness is outstanding

Holy shit when i heard the d800e shutter for the first time in the video i actually thought my camera fired a shot 10cm away from me, that's so freaking loud the d810 whispers if compared. Great review, informative and i agree with your opinion. At the beginning when you two started walking the video was looking very shaky tho, i'd suggest a wider angle lens for the walking shots. other than that, no complains! subscribed man, looking forward for a d750 video ;)

I've had this for about a month now... I absolutely LOVE IT !!! Jusat be prepared to get large memory cards. I shot 240 uncompressed 14-bit Raw files a few days ago.... That totaled about 17 gigs. I have a 64 gig card so it wasnt a big deal. But if you plan on betting this, budget for CF and SD cards as well. But if you do get it, you will be astounded by how great it is.

Great video, Corey. I have watched you review on the D750 and Canon 5D Mk iii. I'm deciding between one of the three. I would classify myself as a novice, been shooting sporadically with my Canon 30D for 8 years. hi thanks for the Video ive been trying to make up my mine do i get the D810 or D750 (forget the price at this point) things like wifi and flip screen are not a thing im after (also dont do video) i wont a camera for day to day low light night photography then at the weekends its working for weddings, so wont crisp fast AF that wont let me down (the D750 flair is a worry to me as cant have it mess up on a wedding, SO what i'm asking is as you have tried them both out if you could buy just one which would you get??? thanks

I don't have a camera at all now, but i'm saving for one. I'm going to be using my camera for automotive photography and cinematography mainly. I was wondering if I should go for the D810 or the 5D Mark III or the 7D Mark II. The D810 seems like a better camera but it's also about a grand more expensive with the 24-70mm lense

7d MKII isn't full-frame, so just rule it out to make it easier unless you're only shooting sports or wildlife (crop sensor cameras can do great at other things too, but you need to think about the grand scheme of things). 5d MKIII was the best all around well-rounded camera for hybrid photo/video guys for the last 2 1/2 years, but then the d800 came and had people second guessing whether the 5d3 was getting obsolete or not. Now that the d810 is here, the 5d3 has finally met it's match. The 5d is still a phenomenal camera body, but it just doesn't make sense to get it with the d810 out. Unless you are heavily invested into canon lenses. The glass you put in front of a full-frame camera is much more important in the long run. Arguably, Canon has a broader selection of lenses, but Nikon is literally right behind Canon. But the quality of glass between both the high end Canon and high end Nikon lenses are more or less the same. Consider all that, watch at least 5 different reviews for each camera, and then look at the lens choices and see which fits your needs.

d750 I had and after third return they not able to fix it, but Best buy with Warranty Gig Squad returned all my money that I paid except warranty itself. Now, I thinking it may be take 810 but I still not sure about autofocus system stability

It ultimately depends on what you need. Keep in mind that as new bodies come out, the bodies drop in price exponentially. They tend to update bodies every few years or so. But I would pick one up a D800e second hand on eBay :)

On Tehradar website it shows that dynamic range of D800 is better than D810 but resolution wise it is slightly better and finally regarding high iso ; the d810 is better up to 800 then d800 is better at higher iso

I have all the cameras on hand and tested them all. The d810 is 13-14 stops. It's just an amazing camera. I never said it's better, that is all subjective. I own all of them, but it's the best nikon dslr and the best dslr for video I have ever used. If it was 4k it would be even better.
