Nikon F5 | Unboxing & Test Shoot [ Fomapan 100 ]

The Nikon F5 is one of the best cameras ever built at the end of the 1990s. I decided to buy this awesome 35mm Nikon camera because the Nikon F5 gives me the opportunity to use my HQ digital Nikon Lenses. Besides that, the Nikon F5 offers a super fast auto focus and a superior LightMetering.
This Video shows me unboxing my newly bought Nikon F5. After Unboxing it, I will put some 35mm Fomapan 100 film into the F5 and give it a try.If you are curious about how good the Nikon F5 handles the shoot, I highly recommend you to watch this video.

Agree the ability to use your F mount lenses makes a good addition I have the F100 love to add the F5 it’s a stunning camera and affordable now And the manual focus vintage glass works well on it my F100 has a form of focus confirmation enjoy it’s beautiful

How much is the nikon f5 camera now?

i payed around 350 (if i remember correctly) and i made the video right after buying. So the Nikon F5 should cost between 250-400 in the internet. if you pay higher prices like 400 etc. make sure you have a valid return policy, so you atleast have a chance to test it if it really words. since it is a lot of money.

To be honest i am just used to use the "normal" shutter button. Even on my D850 with my additional grip, i mostly forget to use it. But the vertical shutterbutton works just super fine. And i try to remember using it in future videos, since i will definetly use the camera more often now. Greets and thanks for watching

Please tell me honest who out there shoots 8 frames a second if not funded by the news paper or Kodak/Fuji. In this day and age $8-$12 a roll of color or E-6 if you are zipper you most likely have deep pockets or just really don't know what you are doing. I was a press photographer basket ball games playoffs sure we zip through 40-60 as needed only a handful of shots made the paper. The features is there for action photographers yes but the skills to track and lock focus like wise exposure need to accompany the gear also

Good point i don't even shoot 8f/s with a digital one. I just wanted to inform people. In case someone needs it ( for whatever reason). I also prefer to work in single shot mode and plan the picture in my head before i press the shutter. Especially in portrait photograohy most of the time high speed is nonsense (for me).

With my d850, I shoot it at 6 fps when I am trying to nail an important expression as it fades or when I cause an expression that will morph to the one I want. The power winder helps not missing shots. So like selecting a particular golf club for a particular purpose, I would select this camera when I need auto focus, quick firing, 1/8000. Beauty is it can be shot along side my d850 using ALL my lenses, 24-70, 50 and a fisheye that are gelded. It will auto focus my 135 dc and 180 d. Will photo some wildlife/nature this weekend, d850 with tele in 9 fps, this camera loaded with portra for other shots. For portraiture, which is what I do, the 1/8000 allows me to shoot at 1.4 in full sun at the beach without a filter, plus I can burst at 3fps to catch that decisive moment. I develop my film so b&w shots are about 25 cents.

I think shooting 8 picture burst is an incredible waste of film. So i dont care if it comes with the advanced rechargeable battery.
