And I'm running around downtown LA to show you guys what this camera can do! Apart from being kicked out of most places I wanted to film at, I was able to get some really good footage of everything I grabbed. The colors were delicious and the 6K RAW on this was just life changing to edit off of. While there are a lot of great technical features about this camera, the things I liked most were the image quality, the immersive EVF, the smooth IBIS, the sharp 240 FPS, and the long battery life.
I really loved the Nikon Z6 when it first came out in 2018 and the Z6III definitely stays true to the spirit of the Z6 line. The build is still solid and it even has a bigger grip making it just a bit more comfortable when you're knocking down those low angle vertical shots. And some "finally here" additions are that it has 4K 120 FPS and a flippy screen!
While I only had a few hours to play with this camera, I really didn't want to give it back, and that says everything about a camera. It kept me in flow state and time just flew by as I was filming. So, what do you guys think? Is the Nikon Z6III a camera that's got you movin'?

Not over heating is major. My z6ii over heats pretty often lately when shooting long format projects.

The only thing keeping me from pouncing on this camera is the dollar to Yen conversion. Camera companies are killing local sales in Japan by basing their prices on the inflated dollar. Simply put it does not match the cost of other goods in Japan, so it's like paying $4000 for the camera, which is a hard pill to swallow sadly as it would be so nice to go back to Nikon full frame for my video stuff with a bit of bird photography (yep I am that guy).

Awesome! Most of your video examples were shot with N-RAW? They were gorgeous. I think with the acquisition of RED, their internal RAW should be the best of everyone except for RED’s.
