Great images from this “sleeper” camera. Viewfinder shows too many frames lines but you get used to it. A great walkin’around camera.

hey is there a way that you can post a tutorial on how to load film in this camera because my nikon l35 twaf doesnt work
@ribsy4 жыл бұрын
hmm i won't be making that video soon. film loading is super easy tho, just drag the film leader into the other of the camera and then close the camera. everything else winds automatically.

Love the video and the shots! Just picked one of these up at a thrift store for $5 and it looks pretty mint...other than missing its gold sticker. I'm a bit paranoid about trying to load and unload it though since I can't find any manuals or videos showing that part. Noticed someone else asked about it and you responded already though so thanks!

great! yea it should be straightforward to load the film. the camera does it all. good luck!!

Hey! The markings on the bottom of the camera indicates that it wants a flat battery (cr2025) in addition to AA-batteries, but I cant figure out where to put it. It seems like the camera is working without it though, so I was wondering if you have three batteries in yours?

Hey. Great video. Helped alot. How do you wind the film once finished?

Hey - thanks. The camera auto-winds after the last shot. It's a bit slow but you don't have to do anything.

Nice review, I find interesting how old cameras are making a comeback in times of smartphone and mirrorless photography. I kind of have a technical question. How do you scan your negatives ? And how do you make the black frame (border) around the photo?
@ribsy3 жыл бұрын
I scan them with a digital camera on top of an LED light panel

Nice video. There’s not much info on this camera despite it’s obvious attributes. The Nikon 35L AD however gets all of the hype and press! After considerable searching, I finally found an instruction manual ( in England of all places) ; hopefully it will answer some questions I’ve had about this camera. By the way, what iso film did you use on this video? Keep up the good work and it would be great if you’d make a follow up video….maybe using black and white film, or pitting one-on- one with you canon. Thanks for putting the time in on your projects!

😉👍 WOW thanks for this video, im a bit old style guy and I learned how to make photos in a evening school you know in the dark room really making the picktures. So lately I thinking about going back to a real cameea with a film in it , i like that idea way more then digital... WHY 🤔 because im just like everyone else i got + 4000 great picktures on my smartphone, ITS easy you pull out click click you snap a great photo of your kids or what ever .... and then you look at it and THEN you just forget about them and they are gone forever..... THE old way with a camera with real film in the camera you only her 36 shots in a film and when your done then thats it, then there is only One way and thats down town to the photo shop guy and get him to work the film into picktures and you go home and wait for a few days and you are a bit exitet about if you did get some good picktures, and a few days Later the photo guy calls and you jump on your bicycle and go her your picktures, you go home sit down with a cup of coffe and together with the kids and put these new photos into the famely album ... THIS IS what i like about it .. THIS way of taking picktures is WAY more then just picktures.... AND i will proberbly never learn to understand the idea of digital picktures IT just DONT make ANY sence at all in my World 🤔🙂
