Nikon Series E 100mm f/2.8 : Dust and Fungus cleaning

In this video, I show you how to clean dust from the interior of a nikon series E 100mm. Also, I do a comparison with the Nikkor 105 f/2 DC to show that this lens does not lack behind.

I do have a Nikon 100 F2.8 Series E with some fungus dots in the back crystal and follow your instruction I was able to bring my lens back to normal and is working fabulous.... TANK's

Hello there, I bought this lens from Japan and it is like new although it is few decades old. Everything works just fine, there is not even dust inside (at least can't see any), however focusing ring although smood sometimes I think that it will greatly benefit from a bit of a lubrication. My request is to make a video and advise on how to do it, because although I consider myself as a technically knowledgeable and capable person, I have never disassembled a lens and I'm not willing to screw things up! Thank you very much!

Si es muy buen lente, lo he desarmado para hacer un servicio completo, algo de hongos y limpieza total de los helicoidales. Pero no marqué los mismos cuando desarme, y ahora me estoy volviendo loco para ajustar a Infinito todo el conjunto. Me podrías ayudar? Algún tip? Gracias 🤙👏👍🇦🇷

@@arielgajda3335 todos cometemos ese error de principiante, luego de sufrir, ya aprendemos la lección. Mi consejo, ensambla, verifica infinito, si está mal, desmonta y marca la posición como mala. Así vas descartando hasta encontrar la buena. Saludos.

No coating? I'm pretty sure that is not true. I believe they were made for the Nikon EM.....the cheap Nikon of the day.

You're right, they have a single coating only, not several layers like the nikkors.
