Yo S.T.! Should I use these LUTS with the stock flat profile or your custom flat? Which are they optimized for?

You can use them for either. It all depends how you expose the video. In either case, you’ll probably have to tweak it in post a little, so both flat profile will work.

And also, you can try it on both and see which one is best for you. My custom flat is free to download, so no extra cost to you to try both.

Hello. I need help. I am not sure should I buy canon 250d 18-55 or Nikon z30. I am studying cinema and I really want to shoot cinematic videos. What should I do?

Nikon Z30. The Canon is a DSLR and the Z30 is a mirrorless. DSLRs are being abandoned by the manufacturers, so I wouldn’t invest money in them.

I’ve never had the 250D, so I don’t know much about it. But I’m pretty sure that the z30 performs better. I also can’t comment on the autofocus of the 250D. Z30 has decent autofocus. It’s not perfect, but if you’re going to shoot short films, you shouldn’t rely on autofocus anyway. If, however, you want much better autofocus, explore other mirrorless cameras. Canon has a few in that price range. Canon R100 is even cheaper than the 250D and the R50 is in that price range. Those options are better in my opinion. Like I said, DSLRs are dying out.

It should work everywhere where .cube files work. I tested it a while ago in premiere pro and it worked for me.

I sent you an email. Just to reply here for anyone who might be reading. The free picture profile is to be imported into camera - not into premiere pro. The LUTs you can buy in my store are the ones for premiere pro or DaVinci resolve.
