Nikon Z5 Review Live Shoot + Alot of Sample Images

Daaammnnn homie. Just got the A7IV and it's already cuttung up. SMH. Great shoot tho. The Nikon Z5 seems to be a very underatted camera based on the specs and what you get for it IMO. Awesome shoot and that model look tall AF in your garage! sheesh!

Hahah ay I knew you had to say something about the Sony but you know we had to get it for the “views”. 😅 Nikon Z is underrated and I truly hope the Z9 changes the brand perception cause they got hitters. on the real tho I truly appreciate you big homie for supporting and sharing. Wow! The colors are absolutely beautiful. Image quality is stunning. I’ve switched from Nikon to Fujifilm couple of years ago, but I have to admit I missed the Nikon’s dynamic range. I would say Nikon colors are way better than Fujifilm and Sonys. Planning to switch back again, and I think this Z5 is the best Nikon camera I can get according to my budget. Thanks you so much for this great review. Your model is gorgeous though!

Great video. I just got the Nikon Z5 and came back to Nikon after leaving the brand 20 years ago for Canon , then for Sony. You're right about the straight out of camera image. It's GORGEOUS!! This was the biggest problem I had with Sony, no matter what, I never was happy with the skin rendering of the Sony SOOC. I had the Sony A7III and just bought the A7IV and the color still sucks. Nikon Z cameras will make you look good in front of your client on shoot day when reviewing images. Skin is smooth and velvety. Color so rich, thick and creamy. Delicious images. I also love the NX Studio app. It's awesome to develop RAW with the parameters from camera. Gives you the maximum image quality. I'm selling my Sony's, except the A7SIII or video.

Thank you ! Totally agree. The Sony A7 IV is almost there but not quite just yet. I cant wait for a Z5/Z6 with canon/Sony Auto focus

How about the recent AF upgrades in firmware did they make a difference? For the price hard to beat. Hopefully deals good with the Florida weather

Love your work and use of multiple brands. I’ve used Nikon(dslr), Sony(crop sensor) but Canon has proven to be my tool of choice. Been shooting with pair of Canon R’s, but I just added the R6 to the mix. Keep creating your magic, happy shooting!

Final results are pretty amazing! I'm not usually one to ask, but do you remember what aperture you were shooting with? I'll be FTZ'ing my G lenses and that Viltrox 85 seems amazing for the price!

Hey Winni. Thanks alot for the suggestion! I solved my audio issues by picking up a high quality usb cardioid microphone but I do still need something that plugs directly into the camera for vlogs so I will look into your recommendation :)

Thank you for the support! If you’re filming a lot more, I would get Z6 II for uncropped 4K, dual card slots, nlog 10bit recording with external recorder and faster focus in lower light compared to Z5
