Nikon Z8 Review After 6 Months

After 6 months of using the Nikon Z8 and this one being a pretty popular but also controversial camera in regards to it's similarities and price difference with the Nikon Z9 I decided to give my opinion about the camera, which I own.

Did you encounter the AFC - eye detect issues? Like it is jumping all over the place esp at crowded situations? And also back focusing issues? The focus point is on the subject but the subject end up not in focus instead the background was in focus.

No. With the Nikon Z8 I really never have any type of AF problems at least not when it comes to photographing people which is what I do the most at weddings or events.

What profile did you use in this video? Flat or Nlog?

Thank you! I used the 10-bit option and shot it all in flat, then colored in resolve

Yes the whole video is shot with the Z8 I usually carry one camera when I’m out doing photography and the camera on my hands is the Minolta X-370
