@@steiner554 problem is some sellers just take advantage of tourists, yes a couple of dollars may not matter but some of them take if overboard and make you pay 10 times the price. I guess you should ask the locals some how for the proper price and pay something close to it.

All old 200, 700 and 900-series of Volvo ended up as scrap in early 2000 so there's only a few 1000 still running here and now people are trying to save them. My old 945 turbo would be 4-5000£ today

Agree! This was before TG became the monster of a hit. Look how sparse the crowd was then. I bet you could just rock up and they'd let you in. the funny thing is: The only reason he got it for a quid was because the previous owner wanted to scrap the car initially. But there was a bill passed recently which turned scrapping a car from something you can do for free to something you have to pay for. So Jeremy offered him the symbolic sum of 1 pound to buy it and the guy agreed because not only did he get rid of the car he wanted to scrap, but also made a pound. It was a no-brainer for the seller.
