Step by step guide on how to cook Nilagang Baboy or Pork Nilaga
Ingredients:
Water - 1 and 3/4 liter or 7 cups
Pork - 500g,chunked
Onion - 1 whole,chopped
Peppercorn - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 pinch, or depends on your taste
Sweetcorn - 1 pc,chopped
Saba banana - 6 pcs,chopped
Pork cubes - 1 piece
Pechay or Cabbage - 2 to 3 straps
Procedure:
All medium heat settings:
Add water in the cooking pot
Add the pork to boil
You will see dirt in the water once it starts boiling
Remove the dirt
After you removed all the dirt,
add the Onion, peppermint and salt
Cover the pot for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, add the sweetcorn, Saba banana and pork cubes
Cover the pot again for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, add the Pechay or Cabbage
Continue cooking for 3 to 5 minutes
After 3 to 5 minutes, the Pork Nilaga is cooked!
