Not sure if you know or not but every planet and location is visible on the outer view of the Tiqqun. The "special flight animations" when you move the ship are actually that view. There're all gorgeous ! It's a shame there're on the least useful layer, you can spend the entire game without realising it :(

It doesn't explain why the loose crates in new sectors (e.g. in the 15th minute) don't end up thrown all over the place at that acceleration...

You can hold multiple materials in the same storage container. You just have to select which one is available. For example, you have a storage container with only 6 circuits and no space for alloys. Just put them in that same container and only change it to circuits when you need them.

Great to see your lets play, and how you tackle issues. Always interesting to see a different approach. I created a population center that holds all of my non workers, and then gave them rations, so they eat less. Since there isnt much industry there, it isnt hard to keep them happy and having 3600/5000 on 40% less food is very helpful.

I have a problem with storages and throughput of inter-sector movement of goods. Just how does it work. Do storages pull or push into another sector?

Sectors only transfer resources when their own stockpiles are above the desired limit. Let's say your food sector wants to store 50 food, it'll only share if it's above 50 food. The priority bar on the right also lets you set which sector should receive a resource first. It's kinda funky, and keep in mind, it isn't instant. Try to have your population sector next to your food district, otherwise you'll struggle to supply food quick enough

@@Pyro240 Yes I know all of that. That was not the question. The question is: If want a high throughput of goods moved from one sector INTO another sector, where do I need to place the storages to increase throughput? At the destination or at the source?

@@dominikvonlavante6113 The transporters leave go from the source to the destination. I'm uncertain if there's a receiving limit similar to the sending limit. That said, transporters moving goods to another sector carry 5 units each instead of the 1 unit inside their home sector.

@@dominikvonlavante6113 Placement of the stockpiles inside of a sector is irrelevant. It doesn't matter if you put it near the edge to another sector or in the middle. It doesn't even matter if you have spaggetti roads in the sector. The goods will still transfer one sector at a time. e.g. if you want to transfer item x from sector 1 to sector 3, it will be one cycle for the items to move from sec1 to 2, another cycle to move from 2 to 3. Same for crew transfers. The only way I kkow to speed up this process is the Train upgrade for crew and the drone hub for materials.
