Been playing this on repeat for months now and I can't get enough of it. Soo peaceful, awe inspiring, encouraging in life struggles, full of passion and love. Eternal loop!

This is his greatest masterpiece... 🏆 It's all, birth, life, death, heaven... Love, hate , sadness happiness ... It's all in this song... Brilliant you are Nils Frahm! 👏 Greater then great...👑

I love how you can hear when he simply lays his fingers on the keyboard's keys. So subtle, but adds so much intimacy to the sound.

I know! the hollow abrasive sound of the keys moving or maybe it's the pedals? I dont know, but it's stuck with me now

Just saw him perform live and this was by far my favorite song of the night. Just breathtaking and beautiful. I was mesmerized.

I saw him last night in London and he played some slow stuff but sadly not this. I would have broken down if he had. Love , love , love this.

I saw him in London too and was blown away. Any idea of the set list? I’m new to Nils’ music, would love to hear those pieces again.

@@shivers225unsure of the first half as I think it was mostly new music composed for the London events and maybe some newer stuff I don’t know the name of. Second half I think the order was roughy: Familiar, Hammers (although not played the same as the original version in the first portion), Says, For - Peter - Toilet Brushes - More.

...Under my skin and in my soul. How does someone produce this beauty?

try this: Sit down at a well tuned grand piano. touch only very few notes, listen to each of them, listen to them fading... forget what music you heard elsewhere..mtake time. you will hear that some fit better, some want a motion, some change context. correct if you find a nicer or better note. you may notice that from time to time, your fingers start singing. It's not you. Just be there. No goal. No effort. Try C minor :) you travel farther with minor scales. See that a minor third can be quite happy too.. that a half tone can be beautiful when an octave away.. don't leave the scale too soon, it's not Olympia :) listen to the sound around you while playing too, and the silence behind everything. this is you.

Read your interview in TapeOp. Most impressive. Bought your disk, and when listening on a proper system -- I mean really proper -- I was floored. KZbin and the rest are handy but there is no substitute for well, you know… I hope other listeners will read and learn about your approach to music. Thank you.

Yeah does anyone know why it does have the exact same hook at the Alice Coltrane song? Is the Nils song meant to be his interpretation of it? Can’t seem to find any reference to it.

Anyone know the instrumentation on the recorded version that appears in the album: All Melody? There is a subtle, but captivating background sound that feels like a pedal from a pump organ or something ... A mesmerizing piece ...
