I definitely thought the movie Ad Astra was pretty good, mostly with strengths in the visuals, but DAMN my main takeaway has been this little track off the lunar launch sequence. So odd how it didn't make the soundtrack in anyway and generally went unnamed. Would still love to hear the original "dry" version that was present in the Ad Astra scene, but this song off of the album is extremely great.

I honestly never thought I'd hear it, I never thought I'd know the name of this song, I thought this song would elude and haunt me for the rest of my days as a sliver of an enigma. Truly a better tune than I ever could have wished for, thanks for finally giving us this gem!

This is the best song of the album for me. Beautiful textures, ambience and trance melodies. Different album, different tempo. Lovely!

perfect observation. In movie, the high pitched version is used

Half way through this I had literal goose bumps and an out of body expereience. I wasn't even paying that close attention to it at the time. Just gorgeous.

Yh it's the same but you can hardly hear the synth that was present in th movie. This seems to have been recorded 100 ft away from the composer and closer to the rocket engine. Not sure why everyone's so excited
