Man, don't let people on the internet get under your skin. You are out on the mats doing it, and they are just watching and typing about it.

@Tony Phillips it looks like you got sacked pretty good on top of it. That's definitely no fun, and can throw off a match even for the best.

I agree with the others, don't allow others comments get to you, it was obvious you were wrestling through your injuries. You did you best and your face shows the pain you were wrestling through. Very commendable, as long as your doing this because you love it, don't stop!! Also take into consideration: Do the ones that comment negatively even wrestle?? MAN! You're great!! I look forward to seeing more videos of you & more wins in the future!!

That kid gave it all he had, you could see the pain suffered, he may not of came away the winner, but to me he's a winner for hanging in there till the end and being a good sportsman.

Excellent sportsmanship from Carter at the end. Tony tries to dismiss him and he offers his hand again to help him up. That's class for real.
@thepinoychoppingboard1012 Жыл бұрын
I don't think that was a sign of dismissing someone, I think he misunderstood the first one for a down/up here tap.

Wrestling seems like a great sport. I wish I could have tried it at high school, but we didn't have it. But it certainly teaches you great lessons for life: sportsmanship, how to use what you have to win, and mental strategies.

I hope Carter, watch this video and see where he missed at least 3 chances to flip Tony. But, great match 👏 👌. Carter is IMO the best of the two a little too aggressive but I like him. 👍

Carter came prepared to wrestle his aggression from the word go led to total domination! In this match Tony seemed more into fighting with others in the crowd he was totally distracted.

@ 3:50, what was it that Tony yelled to the crowed? Was that his mom encouraging him? As for Carter, @ 5:10, he had a water break. I thought they were not suppose to do that until their break time. Violation? I am curious.
@MidwestWrestle2 жыл бұрын
Breaks only occur in the Olympic styles of wrestling such as Freestyle and Greco-Roman. This channel primarily focuses on American Folkstyle wrestling, (also known as Collegiate Style) in which there are no breaks, and to your point, no water. However, although drinking water is against the spirit of the rules, it is not explicitly addressed in the rules either, leaving the decision up to the referee. If the wrestler stays inside the circle, the safest call is probably Stalling. If the wrestler leaves the circle, a Technical Violation could be assessed, which would result in one point being awarded to the opponent.
