Kson once remarked to Mousey on Mousey's 5th Anniversary that she didn't have permission to call her and wish her happy anniversary (she was worried she would get in trouble) Mousey told her she will never have to ask for permission again. Kson literally took a moment and said it was part of her having to get rid of Japanese corpo life - asking for permission for every little thing. Pretty sure Dooby / Nimi / aqua (I forget her new name), and Chloe whenever she redebuts - will have similar experiences of not having to ask permission for every little thing. Plus other various experiences. Different experiences than the ex-Nijisanji crew but new experiences nonetheless

It was likely the fact that constant traveling and doing non-streaming work was wearing her out and she couldn't do what she wanted the most. Well then she was basically a regular viewer. Now they know each other in person and also are ex-coworkers, so it is very different dynamic now. Plus, corpo contracts usually have clauses that forbit them to mention any info from their employment at corpo. Plus Gooba never streams, as opposed to backinthedays :DDD

Likely not anymore. The contract clauses usually state they can't refer to their old coworkers as friends or senpais outright. K-Son has accidentally called some members senpai like once or twice on her current channel, and even played Holocure with some fun references here and there, but never anything outright other than saying GMMF. But she split with amicably and on good terms. Now some people like Randon and Lando will talk about each other all the time with their current selves' incarnations, but will never outright talk about their time together at their corpo period. Now Nimi and Dooby can still collab and do whatever they want now, they just can't reference outright they were both part of the same company or what they did back then. Now Nimi can outright say she knows Senzawa, since that's a indie account/PL.

I think its fine if the stream is originally one game and the title is just edited after to be like "UFO 50 + some League of Legends" or whatever. Obviously not like a big main game as an extra one, but like more random stuff like this or multiplayer games etc. Personally I think its kinda fun to have little extra bits of different things at the end, variety is the spice of life. Its one of the benefits of not being in a corporation - more freedom.

I'm really hoping she plays the Campanellas. They are emblematic for the collection (The Campanella lliterally being the UFO), but also the most fun ones I have played. Campanella 1 is like a Celeste-like game in which you fly the ufo through short one-screen levels, Campanella 2 is Spelunky+Blaster Master+Metroid in the Campanella, and Campanella 3 is a lot like Star Fox from SNES with the fake 3D. Campanella 2 in particular can generate a love-hate relationship because of how punishing it is (It's like Spelunky, so that is expected), but with some more polish and length it could be a standalone indie roguelike. My favorite song of the collection is also from Campanella 2: Vaalpolis theme. I was actually hoping that she'd play UFO 50 since the time before she was Nimi. It wasn't impossible, since she loves NorthernLion and he's played a ton of UFO 50 (I don't watch him; I got into UFO 50 from being a spelunker and the only UFO 50 person I watch is Blargho, and most likely Nimi from now on). So it was kind of a dream turned into reality.

Scheduling and perms yeah. In corpo, schedules come after a meeting and discussion with managers especially if its regarding a game. Its the reason why guerilla streams tend to just be chatting ones

They just want some semblance of structure and hierarchy. Perms for specific games have to be acquired beforehand, and in writing (or email). Then they have to ask perms from management as well on what they'll be doing for each stream. Even the so-called "guerilla streams" aren't as random or impromptu as we all think, and they already have management's blessing so they can't just change or add games or activities outside of what is pre-approved. Ofc the degree to which this is enforced is different with each corpo, but this is the general layout.

Considering they have to acquire a license or a type of permission in regards to a game, it's not something they can freely switch between. It might also be a mandate to make it easier for their target audience to do a "Talk, Game, Talk, End" sort of deal.

It is only odd from a non-Japanese perspective. There’s a hella lot of extra work that goes into streaming games because Japan doesn’t believe in Fair Use. That’s why they have to get permission to stream X or Y game. So just one game per streaming opportunity makes it a lot easier.
