Yeah many ppl feel the non-canonical books shouldn’t be read as if they are evil or something but even the Bible makes reference to them (Joshua 10:13 & 2 Samuel 1:18 refers to Jasher. 1 and 2 Chronicles mentions several books). These books just fill in details that the Bible skims over to save space and time from what I see. The Book of Enoch is a good read to get details of things happening before the flood ! As a Hungarian, Nimrod is told to be the father of all Hungarian speaking people in the world. The only sources describing him as evil is outside the Bible, while in the meantime they dont take into consideration that for example our stories depict him differently. Moreover, his bloodline was Europe's one of the most merciful bloodline of kings in history, starting with Attila and later the house of Arpad in Hungarian history.
