I've seen NIN a number of times live in concert and had the pleasure of meeting Trent in Toronto during one of his stops. I'd have to say that if there was one thing that stands out not just in his music, but also as a person is that he's genuine. His live performances sound like the NIN cds (In a good way; not lip syncing or using computers to change his voice like pop stars) and after talking to him you realize just how down to earth he is. A good man and an amazing musician!

Definitely NIN's best, critics may not have thought so, but I think most NIN fans can agree--The Fragile was Trent's magnum opus. And this performance, the song is over 10 years old but here it sounds so fresh and new...People may say TDS days were the golden years...but I really think this tour & lights in the sky are NIN at the top of their game, especially this tour, reminds me of the early Pretty Hate Machine days with it's stripped down rawness.

@tabloidal what made such great performances in past tours and albums, punctually I would have to say the synths, the guitar riffs, the voice, everything is mellowed down now, when trent cared less about having a "perfect performance" came out just awesome and powerful, real soulful at a point. and well the destruction "scene" was NIN trademark, we can't deny that! it just gave the sense to the music!! besides the live band was great with closer/lohner even with dillon. hope that makes my point
