I got it, but it did not seem to last long on me... People don't seem to notice it at all, it smells nice, but i like it when you enter a room and every hody asks: who smells like perfume??? It didn't happen with this one, nice though...

@LavendarsBlu Happy to meet a nose-twin! The green silk thang I'm wearing in my perfume collection vids is a dress by Girls from Savoy - I got it from Anthropologie. Most of the things I wear are from there, Forever 21 (fab for cute/cheap blouses, some dresses too), Banana Republic (good DVF-style dresses), and some Target/J Crew. I tend to go for things with a vintage feel. I call my style "mixties".

How do you find Nina compares with DKNY Red Delicious? I love the Red Declicious and have it) and wondered if the two were too similar to bother sniffing the Nina?

@eezepeeze The 2 are really different. Red Delicious is candy-fruit basket. Nina is the laundry basket. With a lollypop that someone left in their pocket in the wash.

I watched your review and it intrigued me. My nose is picky but I was enraptured by the bottle, the advertising (darn advertising!) and I had to take a sniff. I literally, absolutely, head over heels, fell in love with this. I guess I go under the "teen" category (Turning 18 on Sunday ^^). I really wanted to find a fragrance for my 18th birthday and I've always wanted one myself. This fragrance is definitely perfect for me. Maybe it's too early to think it might be my signature scent? =P

I just caved and bought my third bottle lol the 1.7oz bottle is so well made, i still have my first bottle but the top of the 1 oz bottle was plastic and wasted away after a few years (i got to use it up though) so i just bought the 2.7 oz bottle and im hoping its just as well made as the 1.7 oz 🙏 Edit: the top of my original bottle just broke (i cant make this up) honestly, after this new bottle comes in, im using this all up and moving on in my perfume journey to sonething new

I have to say that original Nina from 1987 was heavenly, it was very recognizable and classy. The bottle was such a gem, elegant and just beautiful. I can´t understand that they discontinued it and launched a new Nina that smells just like a million other sweet/fruity parfumes. Go figure.

@tdeviller You're fine with Nina - it's youthful but not childish, and actually quite elegant. I'm sure you are familiar with DKNY Be Delicious, but that hits all of your requirements. Also see the Body Shop Love Etc... for a slightly warmer fresh/fruity/clean perfume.

Ahhh the famous Nina apple...I was wondering when you were getting to that. Personally I don't get the laundry-cotton aspect of it, however, I do like the sweetness, especially during the opening! By the way, I find it slightly similar to the new Acqua di Gioia's opening: it's both mouth-watering sweet but it's still citrusy-fresh .Similar, not in terms of smell but in terms of first impression. I'm really curious about your thoughts on that :)

I think all Nina Ricci fragrances have that "clean laundry" residue smell though...it`s not a bad thing,it`s fresh and simple. I use L`air du temps as my go-to summer/spring perfume-I feel it`s classy,flirty and not too overpowering on me

I swear I bought this for Chirstmas. I LOVE the bottle(honestly whey I bought it). I like the scent a lot but I it really just smells like your regular gala applex10 to me. Nothing but apple. As it wears on, candy apple. The bottle sure fits the scent.

Sweet laundry? Lol you're so original! :) speaking of laundry perfumes, I sniffed Chanel's latest Chance.. I think i's called Tendre (it's pink). Anyway, I was so surprised Chanel would allow themselves to make a perfume that smells like a laundry detergent/softener. It's a nice smell, fresh and flowery but I expect sth called a perfume to be much more.

I have it. Very pleasant fragrance, sweet, kind of fresh, a bit gourmand, sillage and longevity good, very girly but can be worn by a woman for sure to feel a bit more of her younger and free spirit :-))) all in all a masterpiece nowdays that is a must have in a perfume collection.

Sounds like this may be a good spring/summer scent...Lord knows I'm not exactly the target market for this perfume (I'm 44) but hell if I like it and it dosn't make me smell like a 3rd grader I'll wear it! ;0) i tend to like a very broad spectrum of perfumes (orientals in general are my favorites followed by FF). I try to keep an open mind when trying new fumes though, your reviews are helping with that (and are highly amusing)!
