Nina Dobrev on the Workout That Makes Her Feel the Most Badass | InStyle

“I’ve always been a go-getter,” actress Nina Dobrev says. “I like to be lazy and I like to take time for myself, [but] that’s usually at the end of a long day because I’ve kicked ass.” The 29-year-old actress, best known for her roles on Degrassi: The Next Generation and The Vampire Diaries, took a leap of faith when she jumped into the industry and moved to Los Angeles (later Georgia) for her roles.
Dobrev credits her support system when discussing her success, saying that family, friends, and Dobrev’s latest addition to her inner circle (pup Maverick) are a top priority.

I don't like when people say "oh Nina changed I don't like her anymore" like no she grew up,she realized some suff,she is becoming more and more comfortable with herself and that's the most important thing,she was trying to be perfect before and you could see that like everyone, when they're younger literally everyone Is trying to be perfect and we all want everybody to like us,but then you realize that you just need the right people to like you and the one's that truly matter,your friends you don't need everyone to like you you're not perfect and thats okay.I think that Nina realized that and as long as she is happy I'll always support her,no matter what.

She is so right about the more plans we make the more the universe pushes us to do other things even ones that we don’t like or didn’t imagine ourselves doing. I’m talking from experience. I had so many plans, some did come true but others didn’t. I had two wishes that I wanted badly, one of them I realized want for me and thank God didn’t come true, but the other is still pending. I guess it takes time, or maybe it won’t happen. Point is: you can make plans and have goals but don’t be too specific, be more open about changes and not getting everything you want, and if you get the opportunity to do something you didn’t think you would ever do, just do it, as long as it doesn’t conflict with your goals and values.
