This is with still going strong Leopoldo F. Fleming on percussion. Actually, Fleming was the one who came up with the idea of the double-time bongo arrangement, he is playing here on 'My Way', which can also watched on the live video takes on KZbin of Simone singing the song at a Red Cross / Croix-Rouge charity show on French TV. There is another video from a later date where Simone is even trying to play that rhythm on the piano herself without a percussionist. By the way, and which so many (even musicians!) are mistaken about, 'My Way' is NOT composed by Paul Anka, but is a French song "Comme d'habitude" composed by Jacques Revaux with lyrics by Gilles Thibaut and Claude François. Paul Anka wrote the English lyrics.
